In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines and analytics solutions that empower data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and actionable. • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes. • Build and optimize data models for analytics and reporting. • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data needs and deliver solutions. • Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across systems. • Implement and maintain data warehouse and data lake architectures. • Automate data workflows and reporting processes. • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and reliability. • Stay current with emerging data technologies and best practices. What you will need: • US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Suitability/Public Trust. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field. • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or similar roles. • Proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling. • Experience and understanding with data lake technologies • Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Data Build Tool (DBT), Talend). • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Azure Synapse). • Strong programming skills in Python or Scala. • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) • Experience with real-time data processing (e.g., Kafka, Spark Streaming). • Knowledge of data governance and security best practices. • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines. • Certifications in cloud platforms or data engineering.
