Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SharePoint Developer to lead the design, development, customization, and maintenance of SharePoint-based solutions across enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SharePoint Online (Office 365), SharePoint 2019/2016, and Microsoft Power Platform, and will be responsible for delivering scalable and secure collaboration solutions that meet business and user needs. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain custom SharePoint applications, workflows, and site collections. • Lead migration efforts from legacy SharePoint environments to SharePoint Online. • Create custom solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze user needs, and translate them into functional SharePoint solutions. • Develop and enforce governance policies, permission models, and best practices. • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and oversight to junior SharePoint developers. • Perform troubleshooting, support, and performance tuning of SharePoint environments. • Integrate SharePoint with external systems using APIs and third-party tools. • Maintain documentation for architecture, configurations, customizations, and operational procedures. • Stay up to date with Microsoft technologies, emerging tools, and best practices. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. • 5+ years of hands-on experience in SharePoint development and administration. • Strong experience with SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2016/2019, and Microsoft 365. • Proficiency in SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs. • Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI). • Solid understanding of SharePoint security, permissions, site structures, and content types. • Experience with version control systems such as Git or Azure DevOps. • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: • Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Developer Associate or related certification. • Experience in a federal or regulated enterprise environment. • Familiarity with Nintex, DocuSign, or other workflow/form automation tools. • Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies. • Experience with Microsoft Teams integration and Viva Connections.
