Functional Consultant (Manufacturing and Warehouse Management) Join to apply for the Functional Consultant (Manufacturing and Warehouse Management) role at DAX Software Solutions | Microsoft Solutions Partner | Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Job Title: Functional Consultant (Manufacturing and Warehouse Management) Job Duties • Facilitate workshops to develop business requirements; create demonstrations to provide proof of concept; plan and assist the team in drafting statements of work including effort and cost estimation. • Participate in projects through requirements definition and solution design phases, ensuring the overall design meets business needs and user stories, and lead resources through build, test, and deployment. • Facilitate customer decision-making, document business processes, and prepare functional design documents to guide development. • Perform fit-gap analysis, prototype, and configure processes in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (Production and Warehouse Management Modules) based on customer requirements. • Support system testing and train users. • Provide structured support to DAX Software customers, including managed service and implementation clients. • Troubleshoot support requests, manage support cases according to SLA. • Implement Dynamics 365 Supply Chain and Warehouse Management solutions. • Have a strong understanding of advanced warehouse management concepts, including pick/pack/ship processes, barcoding, and RFID. • Proven experience in customizing and configuring Dynamics 365 Warehouse Management modules.Requirements • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with four years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree with six years of relevant experience in designing and developing Microsoft Dynamics AX solutions. • Minimum of 5+ years of Dynamics AX/D365 Finance implementation experience. • Proven full lifecycle implementations of at least 2 Dynamics AX projects, totaling a minimum of 10 years of industry or consulting experience. • Extensive experience with Manufacturing, Procurement, Warehouse, and Inventory Management. • Knowledge of manufacturing vertical industries and third-party solutions for D365/AX. • D365 F&O certification in manufacturing and warehouse modules. • Deep experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Manufacturing module and Lean Manufacturing (preferred). • Understanding of client engagement processes, project artifacts, and documentation standards. • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and methodologies such as ITIL and Agile.
