We're looking for a skilled Business Intelligence Engineer to design, implement, and support Microsoft BI solutions that deliver data-driven insights and decision support to our client’s global audience. This role will develop and govern corporate BI framework, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth. We need someone data focused with strong experience with SSAS and cube development. This is a permanent opportunity and is remote based. But applicants must be living in Illinois, Nevada, Washington, or Wyoming. Key Responsibilities: • Design and implement Microsoft BI solutions using SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS, with a focus on data modeling (SSAS) • Develop data visualizations and reports to support business decision-making • Conduct data research and analysis to identify trends and insights • Create clear and concise written communication materials to summarize findings and recommendations • Lead quality assurance and user acceptance testing, including writing test plans and managing execution • Provide 2nd/3rd level technical support for various applications and environments • Collaborate with teams to devise technical solutions that meet business and technical requirements Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in a systems-related field or equivalent experience • 5+ years of experience in database design and/or business analysis, with expertise in analytics and Tabular and OLAP cube development • Strong technical skills in: • Microsoft SQL Analysis Server • SQL Relational Database and SQL Language • MDX/DAX experience • Report development (Microsoft SSRS) • ETL (Microsoft SSIS) • Microsoft Power BI, Power View, or other visualization tools • Dimensional modeling (Kimball Methodology) • Azure experience • Experience supporting manufacturing or product development environments is a plus, particularly with Microsoft Dynamics AX
