Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled person with T-SQL, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, Report Builder, Visual Studio, Powershell and Batch Files. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the migration of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports, SQL Server Integration Services Projects (SSIS) and SQL Server Analysis Services cubes (SSAS) to a new platform as well as creating current production requests on the old environment. This role requires a deep understanding of T-SQL, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, Report Builder, Visual Studio, Powershell and Batch Files. It also requires the ability to work collaboratively and direction from head developers on the team. Responsibilities · Creation of Stored Procedures and Views pulling data from our Data Lake based on a list of requirements for use in SSRS Reports. · Creation of SSIS packages pulling data from 3rd party files (TXT, DBF, CSV, XLSX) and importing into tables in our Data Lake. · Comparing Stored Procedures and Views between old and new servers to make sure updates and new scripts on old server get to the new server. · Migrate existing SSRS Reports from our three SSRS Sites to our new Azure single site, editing connection strings or source Stored Procedures or Views as needed. · Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing to ensure all migrated reports function correctly on the new platform. · Editing SSRS Subscriptions, Caching Schedules and History Snapshots. · Deleting outdated SSRS Reports · Update documentation on the status of each Report. · Migrate existing SSAS Cubes to new Azure servers. Test that all SSAS Cubes are accessible and working correctly. · Migrate existing SSIS Packages to new Azure servers. Test all Packages to confirm all steps work and are pointing to correct locations. Requirements · Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. · Experience: 3-5 years’ experience. Proven experience in T-SQL, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, Report Builder, Visual Studio, Powershell and Batch Files. · Technical Skills: Proficiency in T-SQL, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, Report Builder, Visual Studio, Powershell and Batch Files, and database management. Familiarity with other reporting tools and platforms is a plus. · Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. · Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. · Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, delivering results within deadlines. · Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with various departments. · Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
