Power BI Developer job at Incedo Inc.. Torrance, CA. Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, transform data, and deliver actionable insights that drive business decisions. Responsibilities: • Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to meet business requirements. • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources using Power Query. • Develop and maintain data models within Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. • Write and optimize DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) formulas for calculations and data analysis. • Create visually appealing and user-friendly data visualizations. • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance. • Implement data security measures and manage user access permissions. • Optimize Power BI solutions for performance and scalability. • Troubleshoot and resolve Power BI related issues. • Document technical specifications and procedures. • Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and best practices. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred). • Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role. • Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service. • Expertise in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and data modeling. • Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using Power Query. • Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases. • Excellent data visualization and reporting skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure) is a plus.
