Job Title: Business Analyst/ Functional SME Location: United States Job Type: Full-time Experience: 6+ years Industry: IT/Analytics/Business Consulting Services Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst or Functional SME with a strong background in translating business requirements into functional specifications and working closely with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience in requirement gathering, stakeholder management, and providing end-to-end functional support for enterprise-level solutions. Roles and Responsibilities: • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and gather requirements, define project scope, and document business processes. • Analyse current processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and scalability. • Prepare detailed business requirement documents (BRD), functional requirement documents (FRD), user stories, and acceptance criteria. • Act as a liaison between the business users and the technical team to ensure functional requirements are well understood. • Support solution design and ensure alignment with business needs and system capabilities. • Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing), prepare test cases, and coordinate with users for validation. • Provide functional SME support throughout the project lifecycle, including post-implementation support. • Lead or participate in client-facing meetings, workshops, and demos Required Professional Expertise: • 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional SME in IT consulting or product companies. • Strong expertise in requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management. • Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Balsamiq, or similar. • Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum methodology. • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. • Experience working with US clients or in a global delivery model. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment with minimal supervision.
