Job Summary: The Systems Administrator is an integral part of maintaining business continuity at LifeSafer. The Sys Admin will provide front-line and back-end support services for LifeSafer, and other LMG subsidiaries, IT environments. The admin will work quickly to resolve issues completely and work closely with beginning and end-users ensuring satisfactory resolution to IT issues. Duties/Responsibilities: • Full-time position responsible for maintaining secure and high-performing systems in a multi-domain, multi-site, physical and virtual environment running Windows Server on a VMware exclusive back-end • Responsible for monitoring server and network environments to meet user needs and maximize performance, availability, and security • Maintain, upgrade, and implement improvements to the physical ESXi infrastructure • Manage available virtual and physical storage resources within the infrastructure environment. • Manage and maintain infrastructure backups and replication technologies across the enterprise • Install and implement OS releases, updates and security patches to the operating system • Document all IT systems policies and procedures, and update routine maintenance procedures • Research and test new and emerging systems and server technologies • Help build and maintain servers as we expand internationally • Help manage and maintain user accounts, e-mail accounts, and file access across the enterprise • Respond to issues and emergencies promptly and with effective solutions • Collaborate with team members to resolve problems. Skills/Abilities: • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server • Experience with VMware vCenter 7.x or higher • Ability to maintain users, computers, and security access through Active Directory and Group Policy • Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi configurations and concepts • Working knowledge of Windows infrastructure technologies (AD, DNS, WSUS, and MS Clustering) • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in writing and verbally when documenting or discussing technical information • Ability to multitask and handle urgent interruptions with professionalism and composure • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail • Experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, and IIS Web Applications are a plus • Experience administering and supporting large batches of servers and systems remotely • Current MCSA, Server+, Net +, Sec+, or VCP preferred Education and Experience: • High School Diploma or GED preferred • Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus 3 years of related experience or 7 years of related experience without the degree Physical Requirements (With or without reasonable accommodation): • Sitting: Over 70% • Standing: 41-70% • Fine Motor Movements: Over 70% • ** All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.i About the Company: Masco Corporation
