As a Transportation Specialist, you work cross-functionally to aid in delivery of the overall transportation strategy, which includes delivering the highest levels of carrier capacity, cost benefit, and service performance. The candidate must have an exceptional understanding of transportation processes, systems and data, from procurement through execution. They will have the business and financial acumen to identify process gaps through data and analytics and use them drive improvements across functions. In This Role, You Will Be responsible for transportation master data management and optimization including transit times, service grades, and customer/carrier restrictions. Analyze and optimize transportation processes, procedures and systems to ensure high levels of efficiency. Lead strategic initiatives and continuous improvement activities within CTT and cross-functionally supporting all businesses. Create and monitor new strategic initiatives that will deliver benefit across the organization. Participate in network design strategy meetings and provide feedback and data to help drive decisions. Keep leaders and stakeholders informed on status of plans and programs, changing conditions, requirements, issues, and accomplishments that may affect program delivery or key decisions. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline, required. 3+ years of experience in transportation procurement, systems or operations, required. Subject matter expertise in transportation, preferred. 5+ years in multiple supply chain roles, preferred. Exceptional skills and experience with diagnosing and resolving complex issues and identifying transformational opportunities. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to individuals and groups, across both business and technical functions, thereby influencing and building trusting relationships across all levels of the organization. Experience working within a Transportation Management System, required. Subject matter expertise in Blue Yonder Transportation Management System, preferred. Advanced analytics ability using tools like Tableau, Power BI, Microsoft Access, Excel, SAP/PI, SQL, and SAS, preferred.
