ONLY W2 Role Position: Dynamics 365 SME Location: Hybrid with 2-3 days onsite Philadelphia, PA Valley Forge, PA Princeton, NJ Hartford, CT Type: Contract only Overview: We are seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a strong focus on CRM functionality to help optimize and streamline our use of the Dynamics platform. This role is functional/architectural in nature-ideal for someone who can bridge the gap between development and enterprise architecture. You'll play a key part in shaping the future state vision for Engineering and guiding the strategic use of Dynamics 365 across the business. Key Responsibilities: • Provide expert analysis and recommendations for simplifying and optimizing our Dynamics 365 platform. • Act as a functional advisor on how to best leverage purchased features and identify where current usage may be misaligned. • Offer thought leadership and practical direction on Microsoft's roadmap (e.g., advising on sunset features and suitable alternatives). • Support the design and implementation of scalable, efficient solutions within Dynamics CRM, with ERP knowledge as a plus. • Collaborate with stakeholders to define future-state architecture and support key integration initiatives. • Evaluate integration strategies with Azure SaaS and other cloud-based components. • Stay current on Dynamics 365 updates and advise the team on risks, opportunities, and best practices. Qualifications: • Proven experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM as a functional consultant or solution architect (non-developer role). • Experience designing and implementing Dynamics 365 solutions in complex environments. • Strong understanding of Azure, cloud-based integrations, and related SaaS technologies. • Ability to evaluate and communicate platform capabilities, limitations, and workarounds. • Excellent communication skills and prior experience in client-facing or consulting roles. • ERP experience is a strong plus, but not required.
