We're seeking a highly skilled SQL Database Engineer to design, develop, and maintain complex database processes using T-SQL and advanced SQL Server features. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building efficient, scalable, and high-performing database solutions. You'll also play a key role in supporting and enhancing our Auto Loan Originations platform. Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop complex database processes and logic using advanced T-SQL. • Write and maintain stored procedures, views, triggers, and functions to support application and reporting needs. • Optimize queries and indexes for performance in high-transaction SQL Server environments. • Leverage SQL Server Enterprise features such as partitioning, compression, and in-memory tables. • Create, manage, and troubleshoot SQL Server Agent jobs and scheduled processes. • Use Extended Events and other diagnostic tools to analyze and improve performance. • Support and enhance reporting workflows integrated with Telerik. • Implement CLR-based logic where needed to extend database capabilities. • Collaborate with application developers and business analysts to integrate and align database solutions with business objectives. Required Qualifications: • 5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and deep T-SQL expertise. • Proven ability to develop complex database processes and business logic. • Strong skills in query optimization, performance tuning, and execution plan analysis. • Experience with SQL Server Enterprise features. • Proficiency in managing and debugging SQL Server Agent jobs. • Hands-on experience using Extended Events for performance diagnostics. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with CLR integration. • Familiarity with Telerik reporting tools or similar reporting environments. • Experience in Auto Finance, Consumer Finance, Banking, or Accounting Technology • Interest in and ability to discuss technical concepts beyond own immediate work. • Applies enthusiasm for continuous learning to improve contributions and maintains craftsman like approach to work and, generally, understands how own work fits into broader technical strategy. • BS degree in a computer related field • Excellent communications Who we Are A career withOneMainoffers you the potential to earn an annual salary plus incentives.
