Institutional Property Advisors (IPA), a division of Marcus & Millichap, is seeking a dependable individual with prior experience in real estate financial analysis and valuation. This is a full-time position working directly under the top office & industrial investment sales team in the South Bay and/or Orange County Office. Excellent analytical, attention to detail, and professional business writing skills are required. Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Real Estate, mathematics, or economics. Superior computer skills are a must; candidate should possess a high comfort level with Microsoft Excel and have general excel financial modeling capabilities. The Financial Analyst will provide financial and analytical support services, which will include preparing proposals/opinions of value, deal transaction management, Argus modeling, performing market research, both in and outside the office in order to evaluate real estate, analyzing comparable properties and sales trends and preparing financial analysis for presentation to clients. Professionalism and attention to detail are musts. The Financial Analyst will be a resourceful contributor to the team who can operate in a fast paced, stressful environment, take direction, and multi-task under tight deadlines.
