Job Title: Cloud Engineer (Full Stack DevOps Engineer) Location: Preferred Westlake, TX; also open to Boston, MA Interview Process: 2 rounds Key Responsibilities • Manage Azure VMs, storage, networking, Azure AD (Entra ID), backups, and ensure patching compliance • Maintain and troubleshoot Azure-hosted servers, including Active Directory and Windows Server environments • Automate operations with Jenkins Core, Azure CLI, ARM templates, and implement proactive monitoring • Build CI/CD automation pipelines for deploying to Azure Windows VMs, including rehydration • Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive DevOps automation practices for applications in Java, Python, .NET, and NodeJS • Automate infrastructure for Windows VM, AKS, Database, Service Bus, Function App, Logic App, VMSS, App Gateway, Storage, and Key Vault solutions • Develop observability solutions, including dashboards and alerts for Azure services • Design and implement system-level performance monitoring, alerts, and elasticity automation • Build solutions for infrastructure cost optimization and maintain cost dashboards • Contribute to automation for AWS S3 and EC2 as needed • Guide and mentor other developers within the team • Support proofs of concept (PoCs) for new cloud services • Collaborate with squad leads, chapter leaders, and business stakeholders to drive successful delivery • Demonstrate strong skills in API, UI design and development, and microservices architecture • Ensure robust documentation, diagrams, and knowledge bases are maintained Required Skills • 8+ years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud infrastructure (AWS knowledge a plus, but Azure is the priority) • Deep experience in managing Windows environments in Azure (setup, deployment, security, networking, disaster recovery) • Proficiency with Azure services including AKS, VMSS, Function Apps, Logic Apps • Experience with Jenkins Core, Azure CLI, ARM templates, CI/CD practices • Strong background in cloud infrastructure, including cost optimization • Familiarity with Java Spring Boot and NodeJS for building shared configuration and automation services • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and Agile/Scrum methodologies • Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills Nice-to-Have Skills • Experience with .NET • Prior experience replicating ProVal Automation DevOps practices
