They bridge the gap between software development and IT operations, automating tasks, monitoring systems, and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime and improve user experience. Additionally, helping with optimizing cloud cost, managing infrastructure as code, and streamlining CI/CD pipelines. Key Responsibilities: • Infrastructure Management – Monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and databases. • Experience on: • Cloud Platform such as Azure and AWS • Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware virtual machines • Azure BLOB, NetApp, and Elastic SAN storage • Azure and AWS Virtual Networking and Direct Connect/ExpressRoute • Monitoring and Alerting – Continuously monitor system performance, analyze logs, implement actionable alerting systems to detect potential issues before they impact users. • Experience on: • Elastic Cloud Observability and SIEM • Azure Monitoring and Diagnostic Settings • Documentation – Document processes, procedures, and solutions to ensure knowledge transfer and facilitate future troubleshooting. • Experience on: • Microsoft 365 • Microsoft Visio • Microsoft Project • IT Resilience Management – Preparing for, responding to, and recovering from incidents that disrupt IT services, minimizing downtime, and ensuring business continuity. • Experience on: • ServiceNow • Reducing Mean-Time-To-Resolution (MTTR) and Meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) • Business Continuity Management and Disaster Recovery • System Backup and Restore Management • Commvault • Microsoft Azure Backup • Patch Management • Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) • Azure Configuration Management Gateway (ACMG) • Collaboration – Work closely with development and operations teams to improve software development practices and release procedures. • Experience on: • Microsoft Teams • Microsoft SharePoint • Performance Tuning – Analyze system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to optimize efficiency. • Experience on: • Elastic Cloud APM • Automation – Develop and maintain automated solutions to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and reduce manual tasks. • Capacity Planning – Plan for future growth and ensure systems can handle increased traffic and data volume without performance bottlenecks. Skills and Qualifications: • Cloud Computing Expertise – Strong understanding of cloud platforms like Azure and AWS. • System Administration – Robust understanding of operating systems, networking, and storage subsystems. • Operating Systems – Familiarity with Windows and Linux. • Networking – Understanding of networking concepts and technologies. • Analytical Thinking – Analyze logs/data, identify trends, make informed decisions about system performance and reliability. • Scripting and Automation – Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell and Bash. • Infrastructure-as-Code – Experience with tools like Terraform and CloudFormation. • Troubleshooting and Problem Solving – Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Security Awareness – Understanding of cloud security principles and best practices. • Technology Delivery Excellence – Able to follow and execute technology architecture blueprints. Pioneer continuous feedback loop and provide progress updates. • Minimum of 5 years’ experience on all the above • Communication – Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Collaboration – Ability to work effectively in a team environment. • B.S.
