Responsibilities: · Day-to-Day IT Operations: Provide on-site technical support for all IT-related issues, including hardware, software, networking, and peripheral devices. Troubleshoot and resolve incidents efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity. · Asset Management: Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, tracking, and retirement of equipment. Ensure proper asset tagging and documentation. · End-User Support: Deliver timely and effective technical assistance to a diverse user base, including high-profile VIPs and critical business users. Address inquiries, provide training, and resolve technical challenges with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. · Video Conference and Audio-Visual Support: Provide expert support for all video conferencing systems and audio-visual solutions. This includes setup, troubleshooting, and optimization of meeting room technology to ensure seamless presentations and virtual collaborations. · Mobile Device Support: Offer comprehensive support for a range of mobile devices, including iPhones, Android phones, iPads, and other tablets. Assist users with device setup, application troubleshooting, connectivity issues, and mobile security. · International Enterprise Support: Collaborate with global IT teams to resolve complex issues, adhere to international IT policies, and support users across various time zones as needed. · System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including system updates, patching, backups, and security checks, to ensure optimal performance and security of IT infrastructure. · Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT procedures, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles. · Vendor Communication: Liaise with external vendors and service providers for hardware repairs, software licenses, and other IT-related services. · Proactive Problem Solving: Identify recurring issues and implement preventative measures to improve IT service delivery and user experience. Qualifications: · Proven experience in an IT support role, preferably within a large enterprise or international organization. · Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business applications. · Experience with video conference systems and audio-visual solutions (e.g., Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Crestron, Extron, etc.). · Proficiency in supporting mobile devices, including iPhones, Android phones, and iPads. · Experience with network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN). · Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) tools and best practices. · Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. · Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. · Demonstrated ability to maintain composure and professionalism when supporting high-profile individuals and critical users. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. · Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified) are a plus. Work Environment: · This is an on-site position requiring five days a week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at our IQ Bar location in Chicago's Fulton Market. · The role may require occasional lifting of IT equipment (up to 50 lbs). · A professional and collaborative work environment.
