As a Lead Consulting Data Scientist, your expertise in statistical analysis and machine learning will play a crucial role in delivering impactful solutions for our strategic engagements. Key Responsibilities: • Design, build, and maintain robust large-scale data pipelines for statistical analyses and machine learning model training, testing, and deployment. • Collaborate closely with fellow data scientists and stakeholders to identify data needs and create tailored, innovative solutions. • Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that enhances reporting, analytics, and machine learning capabilities. • Conduct in-depth research to evaluate data and extract strategic business insights that drive decision-making. • Transform data into actionable insights through advanced statistical analyses and data manipulation. • Optimize algorithms and models to ensure scalability, reliability, and high performance. • Establish and uphold data architectures that support effective data warehousing and governance practices. • Ensure the highest standards of data quality and security across all data pipelines and systems. • Mentor and guide junior data scientists, contributing to the growth of team knowledge and best practices. • Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in machine learning and data science to continuously innovate. Qualifications & Skills: • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • 8+ years of experience in data science or software engineering. • Proven expertise in data pipeline tools such as Apache Spark, Apache Beam, or Apache Flink. • Experience with data warehousing technologies like Oracle Object Storage, Apache Hadoop, or Amazon Redshift. • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala. • Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms. • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. • Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to tell compelling stories with data. • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch. • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms such as OCI, AWS, GCP, or Azure. • Proficient in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. • Experience with agile methodologies and version control systems. Work Location: This role may require obtaining and maintaining Federal Security clearance as a US-based citizen. Salary Range: The hiring range is between $97,500 to $199,500 per annum, with eligibility for bonuses and equity.
