Client is seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain their cloud-based infrastructure in Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have experience with Azure IaaS, PaaS, automation, security, networking, and monitoring tools. This role will be responsible for optimizing performance, ensuring reliability, and implementing best practices for cloud infrastructure, governance, and cost management. Key Responsibilities: • Design, deploy, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure, including Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Storage, and Identity services. • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep. • Manage Azure networking (VNet, VPN, ExpressRoute, NSGs, Load Balancers, Application Gateway). • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies in Azure environments. • Automate provisioning, scaling, and monitoring using Azure DevOps, PowerShell, and CI/CD pipelines. • Enforce cloud security best practices, including Azure Policy, RBAC, Key Vault, and Defender for Cloud. • Monitor infrastructure health using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Sentinel. • Optimize cost management and resource efficiency through Azure Cost Management & Reserved Instances. • Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to ensure seamless cloud operations. • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues in a fast-paced production environment. Required Qualifications: • 3-7 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with strong expertise in Azure. • Hands-on experience with Azure IaaS & PaaS, including Virtual Machines, Azure Functions, AKS, and App Services. • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep. • Strong knowledge of Azure networking (VNets, Peering, ExpressRoute, DNS, Load Balancing). • Experience with Azure Active Directory, RBAC, and Conditional Access. • Automation expertise with PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. • Experience with monitoring & logging tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana). • Understanding of security best practices, including Zero Trust, Encryption, and Compliance (ISO 27001, NIST, or SOC 2). • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost. • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
