A recognized services company is actively seeking a new Microsoft Systems Administrator to join a dedicated team onsite in Oakridge, TN. • **This role requires onsite presence 5 days a week.*** Responsibilities: • Design, deploy, and manage Hyper-V Clusters, including shared storage, disk configurations, and load balancing • Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server and Linux environments • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and system management • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to support Fortinet switches, routers, firewalls, and access points at the facility • Perform intermediate-level network engineering tasks, including cabling, configuration, and diagnostics • Monitor system performance, ensure uptime, and implement proactive maintenance strategies • Maintain documentation for systems architecture, configurations, and procedures • Provide on-site support 5 days per week, ensuring rapid response to manufacturing needs Qualifications: • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Microsoft Systems Administrator • Proven expertise with Hyper-V Clustering in production environments • Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and PowerShell scripting • Working knowledge of network engineering, including cabling and basic switch/router configuration • Experience with Fortinet network devices (switches, routers, firewalls) • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently • Excellent communication and documentation abilities Desired Skills: • Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or Fortinet NSE • Experience in manufacturing or industrial IT environments • Familiarity with SAN/NAS storage systems and backup solutions
