Overview of the Staff Accountant role: • Process affiliate reimbursements by verifying and reconciling expense reports against grant funds. Ensure accurate alignment with templates and grant guidelines before approval.. • Maintain and update Excel-based grant spreadsheets for 15-20 active grants, using pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and other advanced Excel tools to streamline data reporting. • Run expense reports in Microsoft Dynamics, analyze data, and integrate figures manually into grant-specific spreadsheets. • Prepare analysis reports with detailed line items for payroll, social security, and other expenses, ensuring accurate summaries and subtotals. Preferred Qualifications for the Staff Accountant role: • Proven experience in accounting with strong attention to detail. • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs. • Familiarity with grant accounting and Microsoft Dynamics is highly desirable. • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks. • Excellent communication skills and team collaboration capabilities.
