Compensation: $55-$65 / hourly Location: Kansas City, MO Position: Azure Data Engineer Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Azure Data Engineer to join their team! This is a unique opportunity to work on a large-scale project with a well-known insurance firm that is undergoing a major transformation. The company is modernizing their software environment and transitioning to an Azure-based system, replacing outdated legacy software. While the role is primarily remote, candidates will need to be located in Kansas City for occasional in-person collaboration. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with a team of engineers and architects to plan, develop, and implement new systems in an Azure environment • Execute and support the transition from legacy software to a modern system • Engage in strategic discussions and planning phases during the initial stages of the project • Use Microsoft SQL Server and Azure technologies to build and maintain robust data solutions Required Qualifications & Experience: • Proven experience working with Microsoft SQL Server • Strong expertise in Azure cloud technologies • Ability to contribute to both the planning and execution phases of complex projects • Excellent communication skills and the ability to think critically and innovate Nice to Have Skills & Experience: • Previous experience in the insurance or financial sector • Familiarity with modern software architecture principles • Knowledge of legacy system migration processes Perks & Benefits: • 3 different medical health insurance plans, dental, and vision insurance • Voluntary and Long-term disability insurance • Paid time off, 401k, and holiday pay • Weekly direct deposit or pay card deposit If you are interested in learning more about the Azure Data Engineer opportunity, please submit your resume for consideration.
