We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Analytics Manager to lead our Analytics Team. This pivotal role involves managing a talented group of data analysts and data engineers, ensuring the seamless execution of all aspects of the data lifecycle, including data ingestion, data storage, data engineering, data modeling, and business intelligence. This role also requires a strong customer-facing presence, where you will build the analytics brand, grow our analytics capabilities, manage multiple priorities, and exceed stakeholder expectations. As the Analytics Manager, you will have both functional and technical responsibility for our cutting-edge analytics platforms, including Azure Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric. You will oversee the underlying architecture that supports these assets, ensuring optimal performance and scalability. Join us and be a part of a forward-thinking team that is driving innovation and excellence in data analytics. • Build and promote the analytics brand through strong customer-facing relationships. • Manage multiple priorities and stakeholder expectations effectively. • Work with stakeholders to identify business requirements and translate them into technical requirements. • Lead and manage a team of data analysts and data engineers. • Oversee all aspects of the data lifecycle: data ingestion, data storage, data engineering, data modeling, and business intelligence. • Provide functional and technical oversight for Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric and other data related tools. • Manage the growth and maturity of our data estate by providing relevant data models, while ensuring data accuracy and integrity. • Ensure accuracy and reliability of dashboards, reports, and analytics while enabling and growing self-service capabilities. About You • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or a related field. • Strong technical expertise in Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric or similar tech stack. • Experience working with complex data models, queries, and data visualizations. • Ability to manage, mentor, and develop a team of data professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. • Strategic thinker who is business-centric and customer-focused; Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions. • Relentless curiosity in both business and technology. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholder expectations. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Results-driven individual who is passionate about the democratization of analytic solutions. • Able to travel as needed. • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, data science, or a related field Preferred • Deep understanding of Microsoft data and integration platforms including Microsoft Synapse (Azure Data Lake Gen2, Synapse Pipelines, Serverless/Dedicated SQL Pool). • Experience working with components of Microsoft Fabric, specifically Power BI, OneLake, Data Factory, Data Engineering. • Experience writing data transformation with Apache Spark, Python, or similar languages. • Strong understanding of data governance and security best practices. • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and setup • Experience managing vendor and software costs. • Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing large-scale data projects. • Ability to leverage data science platforms to increase the use of AI/ML in analytical platforms.
