We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Analytics Manager to lead our Analytics Team. This pivotal role involves managing a talented group of data analysts and data engineers, ensuring the seamless execution of all aspects of the data lifecycle, including data ingestion, data storage, data engineering, data modeling, and business intelligence. This role also requires a strong customer-facing presence, where you will build the analytics brand, grow our analytics capabilities, manage multiple priorities, and exceed stakeholder expectations. About You • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or a related field. • Strong technical expertise in Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric or similar tech stack. • Experience working with complex data models, queries, and data visualizations. • Ability to manage, mentor, and develop a team of data professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. • Strategic thinker who is business-centric and customer-focused; Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions. • Relentless curiosity in both business and technology. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholder expectations. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Results-driven individual who is passionate about the democratization of analytic solutions. • Able to travel as needed. • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, data science, or a related field Preferred • Deep understanding of Microsoft data and integration platforms including Microsoft Synapse (Azure Data Lake Gen2, Synapse Pipelines, Serverless/Dedicated SQL Pool). • Experience working with components of Microsoft Fabric, specifically Power BI, OneLake, Data Factory, Data Engineering. • Experience writing data transformation with Apache Spark, Python, or similar languages. • Strong understanding of data governance and security best practices. • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and setup • Experience managing vendor and software costs. • Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing large-scale data projects. • Ability to leverage data science platforms to increase the use of AI/ML in analytical platforms.
