What you will do: • Lead risk management, security adoption, and governance efforts specific to Patch and Vulnerability Management • Implement and manage patch management solutions using tools like Tanium Deploy, Tanium Patch, Ivanti, Intune, Quest or similar • Operate and maintain Microsoft Threat Vulnerability Management and related security tools • Deploy optimal configurations that balance security with application usability & employee productivity • Analyze and report vulnerabilities and risks, and develop remediation plans • Participate in investigations into anomalous activity and assist with plans for appropriate resolution • Perform forensic investigations and malware analysis as part of an Incident Response Plan • Assist in developing and optimizing new and existing tools and techniques to enhance analytic capabilities • Monitor and operate information system security controls and countermeasures, including tuning security sensors • Own patch and vulnerability problems from discovery to resolution • Document implementation and configuration settings, operational issues, analysis, and resolutions • Lead efforts to install, configure, and utilize a security information and event manager (SIEM) • Implement appropriate security policies and requirements and perform related technical activities • Produce and maintain runbooks for incident response • Administer authentication and access controls, including provisioning, changes, and deprovisioning of user and system accounts, security/access roles, and access permissions to information assets • Monitor trends, news, and changes in the threat and compliance environment; assist in executing plans for compliance and mitigation of risk; assist in the completion of compliance self-assessments and third-party assessments • Assist with the administration of information security training and awareness programs Who You Will Work With: • The Vice President of Information Security, and The Chief Information Officer (CIO) to implement an ongoing technology roadmap to support cyber operations and integrate new technologies into the overall architecture. • Collaborate with global client groups to enhance our cybersecurity posture, particularly in patch and vulnerability management. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. An equivalent combination of related education and experience may be substituted • 2+ years of experience in security-related professions with a focus on Patch and Vulnerability Management • Experience with Vulnerability Scanning and Vulnerability Remediation technologies, such as Tenable, Rapid 7, Tanium and similar • Knowledgeable across a variety of security products including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM software, e-mail and Web security gateways, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and data loss prevention • Familiarity with industry standards-based documentation, certification, and accreditation such as NIST SP 800-53, CMMC, FIPS 140-2/3, and Security Technical Implement Guides (STIGs) • Self-managed, fast learner, and strong problem-solving skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a good listener • Exceptional team player who works well in collaborative situations • Growth mindset passionate about learning and applying new technologies Certifications: • CompTIA Sec+ (Required) • CompTIA CySA+ (Required) • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (optional) About Loyal Source Loyal Source is an Orlando-based workforce solutions provider dedicated to delivering elite services worldwide, with a focus in government healthcare, technical and support services, engineering, and travel healthcare.
