In this role, you will play a key part in managing and maintaining our Windows-based environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities • Manage and maintain Windows server environments, including but not limited to Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management. Ensure systems are patched, up-to-date, and secure. • Provide technical support for Windows-based applications, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring applications are optimized for performance and availability. • Implement and maintain monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring high availability and performance of Windows platforms and applications. • Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to protect organizational data and IT resources. Respond to and mitigate security incidents. • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system architectures, configurations, processes, and service records. • Provide expert advice and support to internal teams and external clients, collaborating on IT solutions that align with business objectives. • Stay abreast of new technologies and industry best practices, recommending improvements to systems and processes. Required Qualifications: • 8+ years of experience in Windows administration, including expertise in managing Windows Server environments and supporting Windows-based applications. • Proficiency in: Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Windows-based applications. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex technical issues. • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with: AWS, Azure, VMware, Hyper-V, PowerShell, Ansible. • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. • Advanced certifications or specialized training. • Prior experience working in IT infrastructure and application support roles.
