Job Title: Software Engineer 3 Location: Austin, Texas 78751 Duration: 3 months with the possibility of extension Interview Type: Virtual (via MS Teams) Work Schedule: Hybrid 4 days remote, 1 day onsite (Mondays) Job Description: We are seeking a Software Engineer 3 to join the Administrative Applications SharePoint team. The contractor will focus on developing enhancements and supporting the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) application. This role will primarily involve development within the Microsoft Power Platform, including: • Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven) • Power Automate (Flows for business process automation) • Power BI reports • Dataverse for data handling The role requires a skilled professional with extensive experience in software engineering, especially within SaaS/PaaS environments and Agile frameworks. Responsibilities: • Develop software solutions by understanding business needs and studying information systems. • Confer with users to analyze workflows, data usage, and work processes. • Investigate and resolve problem areas in existing systems. • Design, develop, and install effective software solutions aligned with defined system specifications and standards. • Participate in Agile sprint planning and deliver within timelines. Candidate Skills and Qualifications: Minimum Requirements: • 8 years of experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments. • 8 years of experience as a Software Engineer or Application Developer. • 8 years of hands-on experience developing technical solutions using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate. • 8 years of Microsoft Power Platform development experience. • 8 years of experience working in Agile development environments. • 8 years of experience designing and developing Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps using Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, or other databases. • 8 years of experience designing and developing Power BI reports. • 8 years of experience developing Power Automate Flows, Desktop Flows, and business process flows. • 8 years of experience working with Dataverse tables and related functionality. Preferred Qualifications: • 3 years of demonstrated teamwork and the ability to collaborate with functional and technical staff. • 3 years of experience working independently and within cross-functional teams. • 3 years of strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills across all levels of an organization. • 1 year of experience with the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Admin Center.
