Job Title: Azure DevOps (DevOps/Networking/Data) Engineer Location: Hybrid, Greenville, NC Job Description: We are seeking a well-rounded Azure DevOps Engineer with strong networking skills to join our team. In this role, you will work in a zero-trust environment, ensuring secure and efficient network operations. You will be instrumental in creating and managing secure Azure environments, leveraging tools and practices to maintain high security standards. Key Responsibilities: • Network Management: Understand and manage network connections, including service tags and network security groups. • Azure Expertise: Design, implement, and maintain Azure environments, with hands-on experience in Databricks, Azure Service Bus, and Event Queues. • Security Focus: Address security challenges in a zero-trust environment, ensuring all resources and configurations meet stringent security requirements. • Scripting and Automation: Develop and execute Azure release management scripts, and use CLI to query and manage resources. • Resource Management: Query and manage VM resources, including identifying those with external IP addresses and creating scripts to gather and report on resource data. Qualifications: • Strong experience with Azure services and networking, including CLI-based operations. • Proficiency in scripting and automating Azure tasks. • Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments. • Ability to effectively query Azure environments and interpret results. Preferred Candidates: • Experience with Azure DevOps and networking. • A background with Microsoft or similar enterprise environments is a plus.
