Job Family: Data Science Consulting Travel Required: Up to 25% Clearance Required: Ability to Obtain Public Trust What You Will Do: • Develop and deploy advanced AI/ML models such as large language models (LLMs) to solve complex problems in the financial services industry. • Build production-grade AI/ML systems and data products that can be reliably deployed and scaled. • Collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders, data scientists, and software engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Continuously optimize and improve AI/ML models and systems to enhance performance and business impact. • Communicate technical concepts and model capabilities to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner. • Stay up to date with developments in AI/ML. What You Will Need: • Bachelor's degree is required • Minimum ONE (1) year experience in building production-grade AI/ML systems and data products using best practices in software engineering. • Familiarity with financial data sources, regulations, and industry-specific use cases such as fraud, know-your-customer, forecasting, credit risk management, pricing and revenue optimization, Fair Lending, and/or ESG among others. • Ability to analyze large and complex data sets, with strong aptitude for conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis focused on financial services use cases. • Excellent programming skills in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or other relevant frameworks. • Ability to identify and address client needs, build relationships, design, and implement solutions. What Would Be Nice To Have: • Experience in building and deploying AI/ML systems at scale in a cloud environment. • Understanding of ML/analytics product lifecycle management (MLOps, DataOps). • Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects or publications in relevant academic/industry journals. • Technical/product management and software experience. • Familiarity with the Azure OpenAI service and LLM agent APIs such as LangChain. • Years of experience: 2+ • Masters degree The annual salary range for this position is $89,000.00-$148,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
