Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Systems Support & Cabling Technician to support and maintain our growing IT infrastructure and structured cabling systems. This is a hybrid role involving both technical systems support and physical network installation (fiber/copper). Ideal candidates will be skilled in troubleshooting IT systems and performing structured cabling tasks by industry standards. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years IT-relevant experience OR High School diploma or equivalent and 3+ years IT-relevant experience. • Hands-on experience with: Fiber (singlemode/multimode) splicing, termination, OTDR testing. Copper (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a) certification and troubleshooting. • Solid knowledge of Windows, OSX, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). • Comfort working from ladders/lifts and lifting up to 50 lbs. • Strong communication and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: • BICSI Level 2 • RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer)
