JOB SUMMARY We are looking for a seasoned DevOps Engineer with expertise in Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with a strong background in Terraform-driven Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The ideal candidate will design, build, and optimize resilient, cost-effective, and secure cloud infrastructure, while advancing our CI/CD capabilities through Azure DevOps. This role requires close collaboration with engineering, security, and operations teams to deliver scalable solutions. Requirements: JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Implement and manage cloud infrastructure on Azure and GCP using Terraform. • Develop and maintain YAML-based Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and continuous deployment. • All code will be maintained and versioned within Azure DevOps Git based source control. • Collaborate with teams to implement secure coding practices, including SAST (Static Application Security Testing) and DAST (Dynamic Application Security Testing). • Oversee image and package vulnerability scanning and management to maintain security standards. • Monitor and optimize cloud spending to ensure cost-effective use of Azure and GCP services. • Maintain and update existing infrastructure, ensuring its optimal performance and security. • Create and execute a detailed migration plan for moving existing infrastructure to Terraform, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency. • Stay updated with the latest developments in cloud technologies and DevOps practices. • Work closely with development teams to automate and streamline operations and processes. • Implement observability solutions for infrastructure and pipelines, including centralized logging, metrics, and alerting. • Manage secrets, certificates, and credentials securely using tools like Azure Key Vault or GCP Secret Manager. • Design and enforce cloud governance policies and guardrails, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements. • Develop and test disaster recovery and high-availability strategies across Azure and GCP environments. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on Azure and GCP. • Proven experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. • Strong experience in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform. • Proficiency in developing and maintaining Azure DevOps pipelines using YAML. • Knowledge of SAST, DAST, and vulnerability management tools. • Ability to analyze and optimize cloud costs across Azure and GCP. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and teamwork abilities. • Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (Python, Go, Bash, or PowerShell). • Strong knowledge of cloud networking and security practices, including IAM, firewalls, and zero-trust principles. • Experience implementing policy-as-code and automated compliance validation. RECOMMENDED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field preferred. • 5+ years in a cloud-based DevOps position • Certification as a Terraform Associate, Azure Administrator/Architect, GCP Associate Engineer, or CKA/CKAD (Kubernetes). PHYSICAL & TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT • Ability to work at a desk in the office for long periods of time. • The noise level in the work environment is moderate. • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision. • Ability to maintain focus under high levels of pressure/multiple priorities.
