Overview The Project Manager (Microsoft Power Platform SME) will join an AE team providing support in strategic project management, business analysis, process improvement, data analysis, requirements elicitation, automation, implementation, and testing. This position will serve a variety of roles across a portfolio of projects with a focus on process improvement and automation. This role will be responsible for design, development, maintenance, and rollout of workflows, process automation, and dashboards using Microsoft Power Platform where applicable. This role will be required to understand the clients’ short and long-term vision, break down complex challenges into manageable projects, create tailored solutions, and implement/track projects’ progress and results. This team has a long track record of successfully managing processes and project improvements and operates in a collaborative manner, working together regularly to strategize and develop effective solutions. Roles and Responsibilities • Design, develop, implement creative and effective automation solutions to address client needs • Manage and execute a full lifecycle of process improvement projects (including scoping, development, implementation, measurement and monitoring) • Leverage knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform to improve efficiency, optimize workflows, and automate processes across an organization • Support multiple strategy projects at once, serving a variety of roles that cut across various administrative units and external stakeholders • Provide excellent customer service and liaise between clients, internal stakeholders, and external vendors • Facilitate meetings to elicit and document requirements • Support strategy and execution of process improvement initiatives • Manage senior stakeholder relationships and communications Requirements • US Citizen • Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance • Must work onsite 5 days a week at a client site in Washington, DC • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of seven (7) years of business analysis or project management experience • Expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) to drive the transformation of our business processes • Expertise in integration between Power Platform and SharePoint, Outlook, and other Microsoft products • Experience in managing multiple strategic projects concurrently across diverse stakeholder groups • Experience presenting and facilitating meetings with executive leadership, subject matter experts, and staff members • Experience with current and future state analysis, requirements analysis, and gap analysis • Excellent oral and written communication Desired Qualifications: • Experience in a management consulting firm, particularly working with federal government clients • Agile Certification such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification • Experience using project management software (i.e., Jira) AE Strategies is an equal opportunity employer.
