ResponsibilitiesKforce has a client in New Canaan, CT that is seeking a Senior Data Engineer. The primary focus of the position will be to leverage Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Data Lake and Synapse Analytics, to optimize data storage, retrieval, and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analytics, excellent SQL skills, and expertise in building and optimizing data solutions on the Azure platform. The Senior Data Engineer will also apply data visualization skills to create reports and dashboards.Requirements4+ years of experience working in the field of Data Analytics or Data WarehousingExperience with Microsoft Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, and SQL Data WarehouseStrong experience with data visualization best practicesExperience with programming languages such as C#, Python, or RDeep understanding of data warehousing conceptsDemonstrated ability to be a strong individual contributor and team player, including the ability to constructively interact with all departments and employee levelsExcellent customer service skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to effectively prioritize and work on multiple projectsKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
