itigation Paralegal - Labor & Employment | San Jose | Full-Time, Onsite Adams & Martin Group is partnering with a reputable and well-established business law firm in San Jose that is growing its Labor & Employment team. About the Role: The Litigation Paralegal will support a busy team of attorneys on a full caseload of Labor & Employment matters. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in all stages of litigation, particularly in civil defense work. Responsibilities: • Draft, review, and manage discovery, motions, and pleadings • Prepare case documents and exhibits for hearings, depositions, and trials • Maintain case files and calendaring deadlines • Work closely with attorneys and clients to manage workflow and meet billing targets • Assist with trial prep and court filings (state and federal) Requirements: • Minimum 3-5 years of litigation paralegal experience, ideally in Labor & Employment • Strong knowledge of California civil litigation procedures • Ability to manage a high volume of cases independently • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience with case management software and Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to work fully onsite in the firm's San Jose office Compensation & Benefits: • $101,400 - $117,000/year (based on $52-$60/hour at 37.5 hours/week) • 100% employee-paid medical (Kaiser and Aetna options), dental, vision • Paid underground parking and onsite gym • 401(k) with profit sharing after 6 months • 10 days PTO + 10 days sick pay to start, plus holidays and additional floating days • Annual performance reviews and merit-based raises Firm Culture: • A dynamic, collaborative environment with incredible tenure-many staff have 20+ years with the firm • Frequent staff events and charitable initiatives, including partnerships with local youth education programs • Known for low turnover and steady internal growth Billable Requirement: 1,500 hours annually (approx. 125/month) This is a rare opportunity to join a thriving, team-oriented firm that prioritizes growth without compromising culture.
