Lead Systems/Network Engineer Greenwood, IN On-site Full Time Our client, is seeking an experienced IT leader to oversee and optimize its technology infrastructure and internal systems. This hands-on management role combines strategic vision with operational execution, offering the chance to shape IT practices and systems across a growing organization. The successful candidate will manage a small internal team and multiple third-party vendors, ensuring robust, secure, and reliable IT operations in a fast-paced production environment. What you will be doing as a Lead Systems/Network Egineer: • Lead and mentor a small IT team, providing direction, performance feedback, and fostering a culture of accountability. • Oversee day-to-day IT operations including network stability, system security, hardware lifecycle, and helpdesk performance. • Administer Windows-based infrastructure and cloud services (Microsoft 365, Azure AD), maintaining uptime and compliance with internal standards. • Ensure cybersecurity through endpoint protection, firewall configuration, MFA, and user training. • Support ERP/database functionality (SQL-based), generate reports, and streamline data flow across enterprise systems. • Manage external vendors, software licensing, and IT-related procurement. • Drive continuous improvement through process refinement, systems integration, and scalable IT strategies. • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, aligning IT capabilities with broader business objectives. What you will need as a Lead Systems/Network Engineer: • 7+ years in IT administration or management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. • Strong experience with networking, Windows Server, virtualization (VMware), and Microsoft 365 platforms. • Working knowledge of SQL databases and ERP systems. • Proven ability to manage people and projects in a technical setting. • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
