Role Description: As a Data Analyst II, you’ll take on a vital role in shaping how data is leveraged across our organization. You'll collaborate with Data Architects, Engineers, and BI Analysts to guide and support database development efforts based on end-user needs. Your deep understanding of SQL and relational databases will be essential as you serve as a liaison between technical and business teams, helping translate complex business problems into actionable data solutions. You’ll contribute to the development and maintenance of enterprise data warehouse systems and assist users in identifying and accessing the data they need. Qualifications: Education: • A Bachelor’s degree is required OR • Possess five or more approved certifications within the job area Required Qualifications: • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future • This position allows for a hybrid work schedule which includes a minimum of 3 days per week in our St. Louis Corporate Office, located at 1832 Schuetz Rd. Saint Louis, MO. All employees are required to submit work from home requests and follow our Work From Home policy, which will be provided to all candidates selected to interview. • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Information Technology or a related field • Strong SQL skills and working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server • Experience with Power BI or other self-service BI tools • Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure SQL, or Redshift Preferred Qualifications: • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • Experience gathering requirements from end users and translating them into functional specifications • Familiarity with data governance standards and practices • Prior experience in the insurance industry is a plus • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Team-oriented and customer-focused mindset Protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information and technology assets against unauthorized disclosure, destruction and/or alteration, in accordance with Safety National policies, standards, and procedures.
