Job Overview Syneren Technologies Corporation is an award-winning provider of technology solutions for the government and commercial sectors. We are seeking a seasoned Lead Azure Database Administrator to join our team. Key Responsibilities: • Database Administration: Responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of Azure SQL databases or PostgreSQL database on Azure. • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of database administrators to ensure successful project delivery. • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize database performance to improve efficiency. • Security Management: Implement best practices for access control, encryption, and compliance with DoD STIG requirements. Requirements: • 8+ years experience in database administration (MS SQL or PostgreSQL). • At least 3 years focused on Azure SQL database or Azure Database for PostgreSQL. • Secret Clearance. • IAT II Certifications IAW DoD.
