As the Sr. Disaster Recovery Engineer, you will be an integral part of NetSteady's continued growth. This position will work with our clients perform network operations and evaluate their needs to formulate a comprehensive DR plan. This is a perfect role for someone with comprehensive technical management experience. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be an integral member of a networking team that will interact with other teams who focus on networks, data centers, storage, and security systems. The team you will be supporting will be responsible for: • Support the administration and continual enhancement technology platforms, program management, incident response and communication • Engaging with internal clients to maintain business continuity roles and responsibilities • Provide support and guidance to colleagues throughout the organization on completing business impact analysis, business continuity planning and testing activities in line with our policy and procedures • Support undertaking physical and logical disaster audits • Produce regular KPI reporting on key operational activities • Support the coordination of installation of new off-site datacenter • Identify and support the resolution of non-compliance issues • Track, monitor and manage continual improvement activities Maintain incident logs of events and ensure the conduct of post-incident reviews Continued maintenance, availability and accessibility of crisis management materials Facilitate training in the use of DR plan Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Experience in developing and administering Business Continuity Management System platforms preferable Experience in the administration of emergency communications platform Confidence to engage with senior stakeholders Experience in delivering user training Experienced in Microsoft PowerBi advantageous Strong understanding of Business Continuity or a desire to develop within this role Understanding of Risk Management or desire to develop within this role Understanding of crisis management, IT DR and physical security advantageous Enjoys self-learning/teaching and problem-solving Finds maintaining processes to a high standard rewarding Makes a concerted effort to achieve deadlines Is demonstrably self-motivated and pro-active Beyond Technical skills, we would like: Highly self-motivated, driven & hard working Not afraid to fail or share your perspective Adheres to ITIL standards and processes A believer in data driven decisions Able to work independently and clearly present results and recommendations A team player.
