We are undergoing a large-scale ERP transformation. As part of this initiative, we are seeking a Data Engineer to design and implement a data lake or data warehouse solution to archive historical ERP data into a bronze (raw) layer. The ideal candidate will work closely with integration and architecture teams to ensure a scalable, queryable, and well-governed historical data repository that also integrates with downstream systems as needed. Key Responsibilities: • Design and implement a data lake or data warehouse for storing historical data extracted from Net Suite into a bronze (raw) layer. • Develop ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest historical data delivered preferably via Boomi integrations. • Ensure proper schema design, partitioning, and indexing for large volumes of ERP historical data. • Collaborate with integration teams to ingest and validate extracted Net Suite datasets. • Enable connectivity between the data warehouse and Microsoft 365 Business Central for reference, reporting, or archival lookups. • Ensure data integrity, traceability, and quality during and after ingestion. • Document all technical processes, data models, and metadata for compliance and knowledge transfer. Required Qualifications: • 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on data lakes or data warehouses. • Strong experience building bronze/silver/gold layer architectures. • Proficiency with Azure Data Lake, Microsoft Fabric, Synapse Analytics, or equivalent. • Experience with ETL/ELT design and implementation using tools like Azure Data Factory, Spark, or SQL-based orchestration. • Familiarity with Boomi or similar integration platforms and how they deliver data payloads. • Solid understanding of data governance, lineage, and metadata management. • Strong SQL and Python (or PySpark) skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Previous experience working with data structures or ERP data extraction. • Experience integrating or referencing data from Microsoft 365 Business Central. • Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, Fabric Warehouse, or other BI tools. • Familiarity with Delta Lake and Parquet/CSV file formats.
