In this role, you will be a part of a highly analytical team that provides optimization and data analytics support for functional areas across the business. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Analytics and Optimization, the Analytics and Optimization Analyst will provide analytical support to enterprise-wide areas through effective use of Business Intelligence, Data Modernization and Process Automation. This Raleigh-based position will organize and lead projects from inception to implementation while managing a day-to-day consulting relationship with internal partners. In addition, this position will assist in the preparation of senior leadership team presentations, geared towards highlighting key data points and understanding drivers and impacts. LOCATION Enact Headquarters, Raleigh, NC - Hybrid Schedule YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES This role requires a significant amount of collaboration with the rest of the Enterprise Analytics team, functional leadership, and individual subject matter experts. Extensive business acumen along with the knowledge of process automation, data visualization techniques, data modernization and statistical modeling is required. Working knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) and Process Automation best practices to optimize reporting and processes is required. • Research of current processes that exist within a business function and proactively identifying emerging needs for process optimization and automation • Provide advanced BI to business areas to support data driven decisions through meaningful insights including but not limited to metrics related to volume, productivity, and team KPIs • Design, create, and implement statistical solutions to optimize capacity and support production managers • Independently lead the workstreams related to process optimization: evaluation, solution and business implementation • Partner with IT, Data Governance, and Data Enablement teams on the responsibility of data management and stewardship • Provide mentorship and share knowledge with peers and cross-functional partners • Manage ongoing relationships with several business partners • Build reports and presentations that provide key business insights used for data-driven decision making • Communicate and present analysis and insights to internal customers and executive management • Fulfill ad-hoc requests timely and efficiently YOUR QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor's degree in an analytic field required • Strong business acumen along with the knowledge of process automation, business intelligence and statistical modeling is required. The candidate must be able to drive processes, communicate efficiently with stakeholders and implement project plans effectively • Experience in business intelligence visualization tools (Tableau, Sigma) • Experience with cloud programming languages (SQL, Python) and navigating cloud environments (Snowflake, AWS, Microsoft 365) • Experience with automation techniques and automation software (Microsoft Power Automate, Automation Anywhere) • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements • Superior analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills • Ability to influence decision makers and drive consensus • Strong communication (i.e. oral, written, interpersonal and presentation) skills • Improvement mindset, curious, and detail-oriented PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Mortgage or Insurance industry experience COMPANY Enact is a leading publicly traded U.S. private mortgage insurance provider, offering borrower-centric products that enable lenders and other partners across the U.S. to help people responsibly achieve and maintain the dream of homeownership.
