Job Overview: The Power Platform Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated workflows using the Microsoft Power Platform. This role requires a strong understanding of automation processes, data integration techniques, and system architecture, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and implement automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective automation solutions. • Maintain and troubleshoot existing Power Automate workflows to ensure optimal performance. • Integrate Power Automate with other Microsoft 365 applications and third-party services. • Provide training and support to end-users on Power Automate functionalities. • Stay updated with the latest features and best practices in Power Automate and related technologies. • Administer and manage Power Platform environments, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents. • Implement and enforce security measures and data loss prevention policies within the Power Platform. • Monitor and analyze usage metrics to optimize performance and resource allocation. • Develop reusable components and templates to streamline development processes. Requirements: • Proven experience with Microsoft Power Automate and other Microsoft 365 applications. • Strong understanding of workflow automation principles and best practices. • Ability to analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) is a plus. • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals) are preferred. • In-depth knowledge of Power Platform administration and governance. • Experience with Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents. • Familiarity with security models and role-based access control within Power Platform. • Ability to manage and optimize Power Platform environments and resources. • Strong understanding of data integration and migration within Power Platform. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Microsoft Power Automate and Power Platform. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. • Strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically and strategically. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Proactive and self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset. Other Qualifications: As per MUFG’s work policy, must work onsite 4 days and 1 day remotely out of either Tempe, AZ or Tampa, FL office. The typical base pay range for this role is between $155K - $185K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
