Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud infrastructure. This role is critical in advancing our cloud strategy while ensuring operational excellence, real-time monitoring, and compliance with industry standards. We are looking for someone who will bring deep expertise in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, coupled with strong experience in automation, DevOps, and cloud security best practices. This position offers the opportunity to drive cloud innovation and mentor cloud operations teams within a collaborative and mission-driven organization.Design, implement, and manage robust cloud-based infrastructure and services.Architect automated, scalable solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.Develop, implement, and enforce cloud security policies and role-based access controls (RBAC/IAM).Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning and execution.Monitor cloud environments using tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Datadog, or ELK Stack.Implement security monitoring, logging, alerting, and threat detection solutions (e.g., SIEMs like Azure Sentinel or Splunk).Perform regular vulnerability assessments and lead remediation efforts.Support DevOps initiatives and CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with application development teams.Manage and secure containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.Research and evaluate emerging cloud technologies to recommend improvements and innovation.Mentor junior cloud engineers and promote best practices within the team.
