Senior Technical Lead I (Senior Data Science Engineer) Houston, TX The Senior Data Science Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced data models and analytics solutions while simultaneously managing data-driven projects from conception to deployment. This role requires a strong understanding of data science methodologies, programming, and project management principles to ensure successful project delivery. Minimum experience: 10-15 years' experience Main Function Focuses on machine learning, AI and predictive modeling Key Deliverables ML models, prediction APIs, AI-driven insights Tools Used ML Libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch), AI APIs Industry Application AI-driven sales forecasting, customer intent prediction Duration: 4 months CTH (Conversion based on performance during contract) Roles & Responsibilities: Data Science Development • Design and implement predictive models and complex algorithms to analyze large datasets. • Utilize machine learning techniques to extract insights and drive business strategy. • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data science opportunities that align with business objectives. Project Management • Manage the full project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. • Coordinate day-to-day tasks and workflows of the project team, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints. • Scope and define tasks using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Atlassian). • Monitor project performance against goals, budget, and timelines; report progress to stakeholders. Stakeholder Communication • Manage stakeholder expectations by providing regular updates on project status and outcomes. • Communicate complex technical findings in an understandable manner to non-technical stakeholders. • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Requirements: • Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. • Extensive experience in data science roles with proven expertise in machine learning, statistical analysis, and programming (Python or R preferred). • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement. • Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation tools. • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus About the Company: Abode Techzone LLC
