The Impact you will have: Blue Cross and Blue Shield of MN is hiring a PowerApp Developer in Eagan, MN. The PowerApp Developer is responsible for the execution of standards and guidelines that drive the design of PowerApp solutions. This role offers the opportunity to craft intuitive, data-driven apps that automate workflows and transform business operations. You will work closely with various departments, including marketing, IT, and customer service, to enhance our digital presence and improve customer engagement. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of Power Platform development experience, with a strong background in developing Power Apps. The candidate will have proven experience collaborating with the business to understand their needs, create proof of concept, develop and then maintain the solution. This role is hybrid, 2 days a week in office, in Eagan, MN. Your Responsibilities: • Conduct detailed analysis to determine if PowerApps, Flow, or automation solutions are appropriate for business needs. • Develop and document the framework for integration and implementation for changes to technical standards including integrating various data various data sources plugins, connectors and APIs. • Develop moderate to complex infrastructure interactions to ensure the security, stability, recoverability, and access to systems and information. • Participate in cross-functional initiatives on the development and implementation of enterprise-wide major installations, upgrades and process changes. • Facilitate knowledge sharing by creating and maintaining detailed, comprehensive documentation and diagrams. • Provide technical guidance to others as appropriate. • Track industry trends and maintains knowledge of new technologies to better serve the enterprise architecture needs. • Perform systems support activities and may include required participation in an on-call rotation for support of systems outside of normal business hours. • Participate in structured cross-functional processes including architecture, change, risk, resiliency, incident, problem. Required Skills and Experiences: • 3+ years of related professional experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered. • Cloud Service Provider Certification (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, etc.) – required within 1 year of employment • Demonstrated knowledge of infrastructure design, implementation, administration, planning, developing Demonstrated knowledge of technical, business, and industry. • Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills. • Strong human relations skills to effectively interact with leadership and management, peers, business partners and vendors. • Skilled at systems, creative, critical and analytical thinking, decision making and problem solving. • Demonstrated understanding of the standards and deliverables to ensure integrity of the systems engineering process. • Knowledge of internal area applications. • Demonstrated skills at hands-on communication, collaboration and leadership. • Skilled at influencing and motivating individuals and teams. Preferred Skills and Experiences: • Bachelor's degree. • Advanced knowledge of Power Platforms including Power Apps, Power Automate, Flow, PowerBi, and Power Pages. • Proven experience in developing solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform. • Proficiency in Power Fx and JavaScript. • Experience with integrating Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services. • Understanding of Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Agent. • Experience developing in HTML, Java, or similar. • Experience with Power Fx, a low-code language, to build and extend applications. • Proven experience creating flows, apps, automation, and working with leaders/associates to understand needs. • Advanced knowledge of multiple business areas. Compensation and Benefits: Pay Range: $88,600.00 - $117,400.00 - $146,200.00 Annual Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including skills, ability, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
