NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR POSITION CROSS LINK CONSULTING Cross Link Consulting is seeking to hire a Network Administrator at our North Augusta, South Carolina office. This is a full-time permanent position with long-term focus and growth potential within a company on the move. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR As a Network Administrator at Cross Link, you'll step into a role where every day brings both technical problem-solving and people-focused service. One moment you may be planning switch configurations in Cisco Catalyst Center (formerly DNA Center), ensuring uptime and reliability for a client's campus network. Later that same day, you might be helping a colleague troubleshoot Active Directory group policies or mentoring a junior technician on how to manage permissions responsibly. You'll also play a role in managing virtual server infrastructure (currently VMware, though this may evolve), supporting high-availability environments for our clients. Documentation, planning, and oversight are part of your stewardship, ensuring that our team stays aligned and our clients experience seamless network operations. In short: your work helps keep organizations running smoothly while building up the skills of those around you. REQUIREMENTS • A serving mindset for client and team interactions • Humility and a desire for the team to succeed • Passion and drive to work hard, take ownership and seek additional responsibility • Good judgment and intuition with uncompromising integrity • High aptitude and demonstrated ability to manage and troubleshoot: • Cisco switching infrastructure (with tools like Cisco DNA/Catalyst Center) • Windows Active Directory tasks such as Group Policy and permissions • Virtual server environments (VMs, not limited to a specific vendor) PREFERENCES • Resolution mindset focused on practical solutions and implementations to serve, vs. elitist attitude • Experience mentoring or planning work for less experienced technicians • Knowledge of network best practices and security considerations • Familiarity with backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring tools • Certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are a plus but not required • 3+ years of Information Technology experience with Windows Server • Knowledge and experience with cybersecurity best practices • Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure Cloud Services • Experience maintaining Backups and Disaster Recovery solutions • Proficiency with remote monitoring tools and work order systems • Scripting / Programming experience, especially PowerShell WHY JOIN CROSS LINK?
