Power BI Developer job at Strategic Operational Solutions, Inc. Washington DC. Brief Overview of Position: Strategic Operational Solutions (STOPSO) is seeking a candidate for a Power BI Developer position. The Power BI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to deliver insightful and actionable data visualizations that support strategic decision-making. Description of Duties: • Design and develop interactive and visually appealing Power BI reports and dashboards • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs • Transform raw data into meaningful insights through data modeling and visualization • Optimize Power BI solutions for performance and usability • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reports and dashboards • Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and functionalities Education, Experience, and Security Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.) • At least three (3) years of experience in business intelligence development, with a focus on Power BI • Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust • US citizenship is required Nice to Have: • Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau or Qlik • Knowledge of SQL and data warehousing concepts • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-based data solutions #J-18808-Ljbffr
