Software Engineer - Microsoft Power Platform Candidates must be located within the greater Phoenix Area and available to travel to our client’s Phoenix office when needed. Applicants submitted outside of this location will not be considered. Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with a deep understanding of Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative Power Platform solutions. This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, project managers, business analysts, other developers, and leaders across multiple departments and business units. The candidate should be adept at leading projects with a consultative approach, identifying needs, and communicating effectively at a highly technical level during the solution design and development phases. Responsibilities • Design and Implementation: Create scalable, secure, and maintainable Power Platform solutions that meet business requirements. • Subject Matter Expertise: Provide guidance on best practices for solution design, application lifecycle management, data loss prevention, and environment strategy. • Collaboration: Work with stakeholders, project managers, and business analysts to understand technical and functional requirements, and recommend solutions for new and existing Power Platform projects, including third-party application integration. • Documentation: Develop and maintain technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and other design artifacts. • Support and Monitoring: Ensure Power Platform solutions are monitored, supported, and built for high availability. • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with new features and capabilities in the Power Platform and recommend their use as appropriate. • Mentorship: Mentor team members on Power Platform development and best practices. Requirements • 3-5+ years of experience in Power Platform solution development. • Proficiency in building complex Power Automate flows. • Strong knowledge of Power Apps (canvas and model-driven apps), Power Automate (cloud flows, desktop flows, and business process flows), Copilot Studio (formerly Power Virtual Agents), Dataverse, and Power BI. • Experience integrating Power Platform with other systems and platforms. • Strong understanding and utilization of RESTful APIs and other integration techniques and tools. • Proficiency in PowerShell and PowerFx. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
