Job description

Responsibilities: - Ensure that existing custom Power BI reports are up-to-date with current data sources. - Perform regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance of all Power BI solutions in use. - Design and implement new custom reports or models as needed, using Power BI tools. - Innovate solutions that improve decision-making processes for the customer. - Maintain comprehensive documentation for current and future system customizations. - Ensure all modifications are well-documented to facilitate understanding and continuity. - Assist Technical Lead/SMEs with change management, configuration adjustments, and report administration related to the Hexagon software. - Engage in troubleshooting where standard support procedures fall short. - Efficiently submit tickets for technical issues through the Contractor Support Desk, ensuring prompt triaging and tracking of requests. - Offer consultative services focused on developing efficient workflows, operating procedures, and deploying new functionalities within the framework. - Participate in testing updates for the OnCall application suite, ensuring robustness before deployment. - Resolve complex issues proactively to maintain system integrity and reliability. - Demonstrate strong independent work skills to effectively manage projects with minimal supervision. What we are expecting from you (i.e. the qualifications you must have): - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. - A minimum of five years’ experience with report writing, data analytics, and database management systems. - Proficient in creating and maintaining custom models and reports using report writing tools. - Strong understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing, and modeling techniques. - Experience with SQL databases for configuring views or other relevant features. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to explain complex technical issues in clear terms understandable by end-user clients. - Demonstrated ability to work independently, managing tasks effectively without constant oversight.
