Job Overview The role of a Senior SQL Server Database Administrator at INSPYR Solutions involves overseeing the installation, configuration, migration, and maintenance of MS-SQL Server databases. This includes migrating on-premises SQL Server environments to Azure and refining regular database processes. The successful candidate will have expertise in High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) technologies, as well as experience with AlwaysOn and Distributed AlwaysOn Availability Groups. Responsibilities • Maintain large-scale databases with multiple TBs of data. • Implement table partitioning and Clustered Columnstore indexes. • Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards using Always Encrypted and Dynamic Data Masking. • Develop and maintain complex PowerShell scripts for database maintenance. • Provide 24x7 production on-call support on a rotational basis. • Support database object deployments in production and test environments. • Execute large-scale database migration projects independently. Requirements • Over 10 years of experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator. • Strong expertise in installation, configuration, migration, and maintenance of MS-SQL Server databases. • Proven experience migrating on-premises SQL Server environments to Azure. • Proficiency in Always Encrypted and Dynamic Data Masking. • Advanced skills in PowerShell scripting. • Strong knowledge of query optimization and server tuning for SQL Server. • Experience supporting database object deployments in production and test environments.
