Toll Brothers, America's Luxury Home Builder, seeks a Cloud Solutions Architect to join our Corporate office in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. What is the opportunity? The Cloud Solutions Architect is a strategic role responsible for designing, planning, and guiding the implementation of resilient solutions across both Microsoft Azure and on-premises infrastructure at Toll Brothers. This role will align technology with business goals by creating scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud architectures and integrate with the current hybrid IT environment. In depth technical expertise in Azure cloud services, traditional IT systems, and hybrid cloud strategies are critical skills needed to be successful in this role. What are the primary responsibilities? • Design enterprise-level cloud architectures using Microsoft Azure services. • Define and implement cloud adoption frameworks, governance models, and reference architectures. • Evaluate new Azure services and features to recommend enhancements and optimizations. • Build and manage Azure-based environments, including virtual networks, compute, storage, databases, and identity solutions. • Lead Azure-based application modernization, rehosting, and refactoring efforts. • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to design end-to-end solutions that meet business and technical requirements. • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions. • Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform to automate provisioning. • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics. • Apply Azure security best practices, including RBAC, NSGs, Private Endpoints, Azure Firewall, and Key Vault. • Ensure solutions comply with internal policies and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2). • Conduct periodic reviews of security posture using tools like Microsoft Defender for Cloud. • Act as the Azure subject matter expert across projects and initiatives. • Provide mentorship to engineers and developers on cloud best practices. • Present architecture plans to executive stakeholders and guide cloud transformation strategies. Qualifications Does this describe you? • Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills. • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language. • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and managing multiple priorities. Do you have these qualifications? • Essential: • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. • 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture/engineering, with at least 3 years on Microsoft Azure. • Strong understanding of Azure IaaS and PaaS services. • Experience designing secure, high-availability solutions in Azure. • Proficiency with PowerShell, Azure CLI, and scripting for automation. • Preferred: • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (or similar certification). • Experience with hybrid cloud solutions and on-premises to Azure migration. • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, AKS) and serverless architecture. • Experience with enterprise cloud cost management and optimization.
