Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Systems Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing servers in a multi-OS, hybrid IT environment, and a strong background in IT security. This role involves analyzing and improving existing systems and processes, collaborating with team members to implement enhancements, and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of IT systems and applications.Key Responsibilities:Server Administration: Manage and maintain servers across Windows and Linux environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.Best Practice Analysis: Evaluate existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.Collaboration: Work closely with team members to develop and implement system and process improvements.IT Security: Analyze and remediate IT security issues, ensuring systems are protected against threats.Root-Cause Analysis: Perform root-cause analysis to identify and resolve issues effectively.Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability: Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of IT systems and applications.Special Projects: Perform other duties and special projects as needed.Primary Work Experience (Required):Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.Holistic understanding of IT environments.Strong Windows Administration skills, with an emphasis on Active Directory, Group Policy, security, and scripting.Strong IT Security background.Experience with Linux Administration.Experience managing physical and virtual infrastructure.Experience with ERP systems and enterprise applications.Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT Systems Administration.Certifications or commensurate experience in IT Security, Windows Active Directory, and VMware virtualization.Secondary Work Experience (Preferred):Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.Familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell and Bash.Experience with security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM.Technology Stack:Operating Systems: Windows, LinuxVirtualization: VMware, Hyper-VSecurity Tools: Firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEMScripting Languages: PowerShell, BashERP Systems: SAP, OracleCloud Platforms: AWS, AzureEducation Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, VMware Certified Professional).
