As a Senior Full Stack Developer at Ryerson, you will be responsible for developing and designing front/back-end web architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications, and working alongside graphic designers for web design features. Roles And Responsibilities • Managing the complete software development process from conception to deployment • Maintaining and upgrading the software following deployment • Managing the end-to-end life cycle for the production of software and applications • Overseeing and guiding the analyzing, writing, building, and deployment of software • Overseeing the automated testing and providing feedback to management during the development process • Proficient in debugging both personal and team-written code to ensure optimal functionality and performance • Responsible for maintaining clear, up-to-date documentation to support codebase transparency and team collaboration • Modifying and testing changes to previously developed programs Requirements • Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or 10 years of relevant work experience with a High School Diploma • Proficiency with the creation of Unit Tests and the use of the library JEST • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience with React.js and TypeScript • Must have experience with Node.js, knowledge of Serverless.com is preferred • Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL and MSSQL • Basic experience in using Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure Cloud) • Excellent verbal communication skills Salary: $91,000 - $136,000 annually. A starting salary higher than $91,000 annually is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale.
