Overview We are seeking an experienced and proactive Jenkins Platform Administrator AND Senior Administrator (2 roles) to manage and maintain a large-scale Jenkins environment supporting over 100 concurrent projects and jobs. In this role, you will take ownership of the stability, scalability, and performance of our CI/CD infrastructure, ensuring high availability and efficiency for our development teams. This position requires hands-on expertise with Jenkins at the enterprise level, with a focus on system health, performance tuning, and operational excellence. Future responsibilities will expand to include cloud integration (AWS or Azure), making this a high-impact, growth-oriented opportunity for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities • Administer and maintain a robust Jenkins environment supporting 100+ active jobs and pipelines • Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring platform health and uptime • Perform regular upgrades, plugin management, and security patching • Troubleshoot and resolve build failures, performance issues, and job errors • Implement backup and recovery procedures for Jenkins configuration and job history • Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD workflows and automation practices • Provide usage guidance, best practices, and technical support to engineering teams • Contribute to long-term planning for integration with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) • Participate in capacity planning and scalability improvements Required Skills and Qualifications • 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Jenkins in a high-volume enterprise environment • Proven ability to maintain large-scale Jenkins platforms with 100+ jobs/projects • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in CI/CD environments • Proficiency with Linux system administration and shell scripting • Experience managing Jenkins plugins, nodes, and agents • Understanding of Git and source code management integrations with Jenkins • Experience with infrastructure monitoring and performance tuning Nice to Have • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure • Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized CI/CD workflows • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) • Scripting in Groovy, Python, or Bash for automation tasks
